Brut Planter Series

Bruzkus Greenberg designed the modular planter series Brut for Gravelli, combining the concrete ateliers craftsmanship and deep understanding of the material with the architects characteristic sense of form, contrast, and material honesty. The planters are heavy, cubic, and almost archaic in form - but they span between their bases so that they appear to float. They are minimal and monolithic, a deliberate counterpoint to the lightness and organic abundance of the plants that they hold, combining material and formal restraint with chromatic opulence.
